These Terms of Use apply to membership in the Engues online panel and participation in its activities. By registering as a member, you agree to these terms and commit to following them.

By joining the panel, you also agree to Syno International’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which you can read via the links provided in the registration process.

These terms are intended to complement one another.

1. Participation

The panel is a voluntary service where members can take part in surveys and other market research activities. Participation is free and does not impose any obligations on you.

Membership is available to individuals who:

• Are at least 16 years old,
• Reside permanently in Finland, and
• Have a valid and functioning email address.

The panel administrator reserves the right to approve or reject any application without notice and may remove any member who violates these terms.

2. Use of Data

By joining the panel, you consent to the use of your submitted information for market and opinion research purposes. This includes demographic data (e.g., age, gender, location), survey responses, and any other content you provide for research.

All data is processed confidentially and in compliance with GDPR. Research results are always reported in an anonymous form, ensuring no individual respondent can be identified.

3. Email Marketing and Use of Your Email Address

By registering, you agree that your email address may be used for the following purposes:

• Email marketing, including newsletters, campaigns, survey invitations, and offers related to the panel or its partners
• Social media advertising, such as creating Custom Audiences on Facebook using encrypted data (e.g., hashed email). Your email will never be shared in plain text with third parties.

You can withdraw your consent to marketing or targeted advertising at any time by updating your panel settings or contacting customer support.

4. Rewards and Compensation

You may receive compensation for participating in surveys, such as points, gift cards, or cash payments. The amount and type of reward are specified before each survey.

The panel does not guarantee a specific number of surveys or rewards. Rewards are personal and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash unless explicitly stated.

5. Member Responsibilities

As a member, you agree to:

• Provide truthful information during registration
• Answer surveys honestly and to the best of your ability

If we detect fraudulent behavior (e.g., multiple responses to the same survey or false data), we reserve the right to terminate your membership and cancel all earned rewards.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and must report any misuse or security breaches to us immediately.

6. Administrator Rights

The panel administrator has the right to:

• Modify the Terms of Use, service features, or rewards system
• Suspend or terminate the service or any individual membership without prior notice
• Use anonymized data collected through the service for business purposes

Any changes will be communicated via email or through the panel. By continuing to use the service, you agree to the updated terms.
